3. Newsletter – Nordic Folkboat International German Championship 2017: Registration is open

Dear Folkboat-Sailors,

The preparations for the International German Championships continue to progress. Once again we are able to provide you with new information and helpful advice.

Most important: Registration is now open and can be accessed immediately at http://www.lsc.de/18033-2/ and http://www.manage2sail.com/de-DE/event/e2f7ecca-5a65-4b77-adad-a13e59798b28#!/. Both links will take you to the registration portal. Please note that there is an early-bird discounted fee for registrations. Registration will close on 13 August 2017. There is no limit to the number of participants.

Loaner Crew: Those who would like to participate but find themselves short on deckhands can contact the LSC (Lindau Sailing Club). Lukas Hummler, tel. (+49) (0)171-8001722), may be able to set you up with sailors from LSC’s pool of youth sailors.

Vacation: Those who would like to arrive early should contact LSC early enough for a berth. Again, Lukas Hummler will be your contact (tel. (+49) (0)171-8001722).

Accommodations: A few free accommodations are still available in the sailing school directly adjacent to the club in the harbor area. These rooms have been reserved for the IDM, and current availability is one 2-bed room and two 8-bed rooms. These simply furnished rooms are available at a cost of 20 euros per person/per night, without breakfast. It is possible to have breakfast in the adjacent club restaurant.
